In addition to club membership, race participation is governed by the requirement to hold an AusCycling (AC) Race All Discipline Licence.
Racing licence membership packages allows you to experience the fun of racing, as well as keeping you protected whenever you are on your bike.
AC Licences are available online through the AusCycling website http://www.auscycling.org.au Select Membership and follow the prompts. Select your State as Victoria and your club as Mildura-Coomealla Cycling Club.

Free Trial members are covered when participating in AusCycling activities, including social and recreational riding as well as All Discipline Racing in club level events.
Free Trial Membership Terms & Conditions:
- Free Trial Memberships are available to anyone who has not held an AusCycling (AC) membership in the last 3 years.
- Excludes racing at State/National Level Events, State & National Championships & UCI events.
AusCycling also provides a One Day and 7 Day Event Licence, which gives you Public Liability & limited Personal Accident insurance whilst racing on the nominated day/days.

Timing System
M-CCC uses an electronic timing system.
This system requires race participants to carry a MyLaps ProChip Flex transponder.
New members are loaned one of the club’s transponders for a few races, however to continue racing longer term riders then lease their own transponder from MyLaps.
Go to MyLaps Speedhive for information and to take out a subscription. Subscription is for 1,2 or 5 years, starting from $50.
Once you have your transponder you need to activate it on a computer. Riders can swap their transponder between their own bikes, but cannot loan their transponder to another rider as each is registered to the individual.
Race nomination fee
To assist the Club to hold events, there is a participation fee for each individual race. Current participation fees per event are as follows:

Juniors $1
Seniors $6
Winter Series
Juniors $6
Seniors $11
Race fees are payable on race day. Contactless payment is preferred using a Square Reader. Cash is also acceptable.
A discounted seasonal race package is available. Information regarding the cost of the Season Package, the date payable, and bank transfer details is provided prior to the commencement of each Race Season.
