Conditions stifle blue ribbon event performances

Mildura-Coomealla Cycling Club staged an 8 km individual time trial on its Riverside circuit on the evening of Tuesday 9 February 2010. Thirty-six riders took to the line for the single lap event in less than ideal conditions. Personal best times would be difficult to come by as the temperature topped a very humid 36 degrees with winds from the north east at 13 kph. Fortunately the forecast thunderstorms didn't eventuate.

The Club welcomed visiting rider from Bendigo - Richard Wright and returning rider Dale Meredith.

Only 3 personal best times were recorded on the night -

Juniors
• Thomas Henderson (by 2 seconds)
• Meagan Hale (by 7 seconds)


Thanks to Penny Hale, Julieanne Ryan, Gary Pitt, Dave Digby and Joe Monteleone for helping out with race administration and set-up duties. The next race will be a graded criterium at the Airport circuit on Sunday 14 February. The Langley crew are on set-up duty.
