Farewell to Mully 08/12/08

Unfortunately the Club is about to lose one of its long standing, loyal members in Pete Mulhearn. After ten years with the Club, the last five as a member of the Committee, Mully is heading back to Newcastle. He will be leaving Mildura just prior to Christmas and will take up a new teaching position at a school in Maitland in 2009.
To mark the end of an era we have organised a farewell function to be held at Mildura Bowling Club on Sunday 21 December. It will be an afternoon of lawn bowls, a BBQ, pool table, music and drinks from the bar starting at 3.00 pm and going to whenever. Members and friends are welcome to attend and the cost will be $10 per adult and $5 per child, which will cover the cost of hiring lawn bowls and the BBQ.
